PAINT CORRECTION
Ready to revitalize your car’s exterior? Paint correction is a specialized process that removes imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation from your car’s paint. At Elevated Auto, our paint correction services offer a transformation that brings out a vehicle’s original brilliance, eliminating years of wear and tear. With two tailored packages, we cater to different needs and budgets, helping car owners in the Greater Toronto Area achieve smooth, polished surfaces. When your car’s paint is free of defects, it not only looks newer but also creates an ideal foundation for further services, like ceramic coating, ensuring your vehicle stays looking incredible.

Wondering if paint correction is right for you? Paint correction is perfect if your vehicle has visible defects like light scratches, swirl marks, or fading caused by UV exposure and environmental contaminants. It’s a go-to solution for car owners who are passionate about maintaining their vehicle’s look and want it to be as smooth and glossy as possible. If your vehicle’s paint has lost its luster or feels rough to the touch, paint correction can bring it back to a mirror-like finish, allowing you to enjoy a stunning, like-new appearance once again. Whether prepping for a ceramic coating or just wanting a fresh look, paint correction is an excellent way to revive your car’s aesthetic appeal.
Every paint correction begins with a thorough assessment of your vehicle’s paint. Our experts inspect for imperfections like swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and other visible defects. This helps us determine the best correction package for your car’s needs.
To prepare for correction, we carefully wash and decontaminate your vehicle, removing dirt, grime, and embedded contaminants. This essential step ensures a clean surface, allowing the correction process to work more effectively.
We offer two paint correction packages based on your vehicle’s needs and desired results:
1-Step Polishing Package: Ideal for moderate imperfections, this package removes approximately 50% of visible defects, restoring a noticeable shine.
2-Step Compound and Polish Package: For a more transformative result, our 2-step process removes about 75% of imperfections. It combines compounding and polishing, achieving a deep, smooth, and glossy finish.
Step 4: Precision Paint Correction
Using advanced tools and techniques, we carry out the selected correction process. Our team polishes or compounds and polishes the paint, carefully working to eliminate surface defects and enhance gloss.
Step 5: Post-Correction Inspection
Once the paint correction is complete, we inspect the vehicle under specialized lighting to ensure an even, high-quality finish. Any remaining imperfections are addressed for a flawless final look.
Optional Step: Applying Ceramic Coating
To preserve the freshly corrected surface, we recommend following up with a ceramic coating. This adds a durable layer that shields your car from UV rays and environmental contaminants, helping to maintain the smooth, glossy finish for years to come.
Applying ceramic coating immediately after paint correction is essential because it seals in the polished surface, preserving the shine and gloss achieved through the correction process. If imperfections like scratches or swirls are left uncorrected before applying a ceramic coating, those defects will be sealed under the coating, making them more difficult to address later. With paint correction, you’re preparing your car’s paint for optimal results, allowing the ceramic coating to bond more effectively and deliver a longer-lasting finish.
The time varies based on the level of correction, vehicle size, and condition. A 1-step correction may take several hours, while a 2-step process can take a full day or longer.
Paint correction can remove many surface scratches and imperfections, but deeper scratches may require additional services.
Results can last several months to a few years, depending on factors like maintenance, environmental exposure, and whether ceramic coating or PPF is applied afterward.
Yes, paint correction is safe for most vehicles, but the process may be adjusted depending on the car’s paint type and condition to ensure the best results without compromising the finish.
A 1-step correction focuses on polishing to remove moderate defects, while a 2-step correction combines compounding and polishing for more thorough defect removal and a higher gloss finish.
It’s best to wait at least 24 hours after paint correction to wash the vehicle to allow any additional product used in the process to fully cure and set.
